Foundation Program

 
The Foundation Program at ACD is designed to assist students who lack the minimum grade requirement at the High School level to gain entry to a non-federal Higher Education Institution. The course syllabi and schedule are in accordance with CAA (Commission for Academic Accreditation) standards.
 
The program focuses on enhancing proficiency in English Language, Arabic language and Mathematics while developing appropriate competency in Information Technology and General Study Skills. Upon successful completion of the Foundation program, students will receive a final certificate issued by the American College of Dubai which will allow them to apply for admissions in the higher education university system.
 
The program is organized to suit the individual student’s pace and can be completed in one semester. However, students who do not achieve the minimum grade in the first semester will be required to continue for a second semester.
