American College of Dubai’s Affordable University Transfer Program
Affordable Degrees USA/Canada offers students a cost-effective way to obtain world class USA or Canadian university qualifications in practically any major field of study. The program involves one to two years of study in the UAE at the American College of Dubai (ACD) followed by degree completion at one of our partner institutions in the USA or Canada.
It begins at the American College of Dubai which has been transferring students to the USA for some 25 years through its university transfer program. Students who meet the admission standards of ACD make out the required application which is submitted along with their secondary school records including test results in English proficiency and other areas. Included in this same application is their choice of the university in the USA or Canada for where they intent to earn their degree. Upon acceptance at ACD, their complete records are forwarded to their selected universities in the USA or Canada which will issue a “conditional” letter of acceptance to the students.
Upon completion of one to two academic years at ACD with satisfactory grades, students will then transfer their “credits” earned in Dubai to the corresponding partner university in the USA to which they will physically transfer to complete the remaining courses for their degree.
Most important, the cost of this entire process will be far below what the normal expenses for a USA or Canada degree. ACD is priced among the most economical institutions in the UAE and the universities to which students will transfer have been chosen upon the basis of high quality and low cost.
